EXTRA-WIDE EXTENSION TABLE
The S6AE makes sewing larger projects a breeze with its generous 8.3″ by 4.7″ sewing area. It now includes an extra wide extension table that nearly doubles your sewing space, enhancing your comfort and efficiency. This acrylic table features printed rulers for precise measurements and leveling feet to ensure a smooth quilting experience, making it an excellent addition for any sewing enthusiast.
FREE ARM AND BUILT-IN STORAGE
After removing the extension table, you can easily access the free arm of the machine, making tasks like cuffs, hems, and circular projects more manageable. Additionally, you’ll find a small storage space in the bed of the S6AE where you can keep bobbins, needles, and other small notions. On top of the machine, near the bobbin winder, there is an additional storage space for presser feet.

With these buttons, you can easily raise or lower the needle, secure your stitches, trim threads, and adjust the sewing speed to low, medium, or high for comfortable and precise sewing.
BACKLIT LCD SCREEN AND FUNCTION KEYS
The screen on the Janome Skyline S6 Anniversary Edition displays your selected stitch pattern, mode, pattern number, recommended presser foot, stitch width, and stitch length in a user-friendly format. You can easily edit, program, and save stitch combinations using the function keys. The machine allows you to program up to 50 stitch combinations at once for your convenience.
FOOT PRESSURE DIAL AND THREAD TENSION DIAL
Adjust the foot pressure dial to match your fabric type, with lightweight and stretchy fabrics needing more pressure, and heavier fabrics requiring less. This maintains consistent stitches on all materials. For general sewing, simply set the thread tension dial to “Auto.” Manual adjustment may be needed when using a stitch width over “7.0.”
DROP-IN BOBBIN
Changing bobbins is a breeze with the quick-set drop-in bobbin feature. Simply drop the bobbin into the machine, pull the thread through the designated slot, and let your Skyline handle the rest. ONE-STEP NEEDLE PLATE CONVERSION
Changing the needle plate on the Skyline S6 Anniversary Edition is a breeze. Remove the extension table, raise the needle and presser foot, push down the needle plate release lever, replace the needle plate with the new one, lock it in, and you’re ready to sew.
