The bernette 38, part of the bernette 30 series, is a feature-rich computerized sewing machine that’s both affordable and versatile. With 394 stitches, including stretch options for elastic fabrics, it’s perfect for creating garments like jersey T-shirts. It offers eight 1-step buttonholes, three alphabets, and a handy memory function for storing pattern combinations. You can control sewing speed through the display, and it comes with a bright LED light, a threader, and automatic/manual thread cutters.
EXTENSION TABLE FOR LARGE SEWING PROJECTS INCLUDED
The extension table included with the Bernette 38 is easy to attach and detach, providing you with extra space for large sewing projects like clothes, quilts, or curtains.
AUTOMATIC THREAD CUTTER AND TIE-OFF FUNCTION
The Bernette 38 makes tying off the thread at the end of a seam easier with its automatic tie-off function. Simply select the Tie-off button, and the machine will tie off the end of the seam automatically. Additionally, the automatic thread cutter button allows you to cut the thread without reaching for scissors when you’ve finished your sewing project.
ADJUSTING THE PRESSER FOOT PRESSURE TO SUIT THE MATERIAL
Your Bernette 38 offers the practical ability to adjust the presser foot pressure, which is particularly useful for lightweight or thin fabrics.
AUTOMATIC LIMITATION FOR DOUBLE NEEDLES
Switching from a single to a double needle is made safer with the “double needle button.” It adjusts the needle position relative to the presser foot, preventing accidental contact and breakage. The “double needle safety” feature restricts stitch width to ensure the needle doesn’t collide with the presser foot.
EIGHT PRESSER FEET INCLUDED - THE RIGHT PRESSER FOOT FOR ANY APPLICATION
The Bernette 38 comes with eight presser feet and a stable presser foot shank, allowing you to choose the right presser foot for various sewing tasks. For instance, you can use the zigzag foot for zigzag stitches, the satin foot for satin stitches, and the buttonhole foot for creating buttonholes.
