The Janome Skyline S6 Computerized Sewing Machine offers superior quality and advanced sewing capabilities. With 196 built-in stitch patterns, including 10 one-step buttonholes and 4 alphabets, plus features like the Accufeed Flex System, one-step needle plate conversion, extra-high presser foot lift, auto declutch bobbin winder, superior needle threader, 6 LED lights, an adjustable knee lift, 7-piece feed dog, automatic thread cutter, and 6 one-touch buttons, it simplifies your sewing tasks and enhances your projects.
FREE ARM AND BUILT-IN STORAGE
After removing the extension table, you can easily access the free arm of the machine, making tasks like cuffs, hems, and circular projects more manageable. Additionally, you’ll find a small storage space in the bed of the S6 where you can keep bobbins, needles, and other small notions. On top of the machine, near the bobbin winder, there is an additional storage space for presser feet.
LED LIGHTING
The Skyline S6 boasts 6 LED lights in 3 strategic locations, offering brighter and shadow-free illumination compared to standard lighting. These power-saving and eco-friendly LED bulbs emit minimal heat and have a significantly longer lifespan than traditional sewing machine bulbs.
ONE-TOUCH BUTTONS
The Janome Skyline S6 is equipped with convenient one-touch buttons that make task-switching effortless. Located along the front of the machine, these buttons include start/stop, reverse, auto-lock, needle up/down, thread cutter, and a speed control slider. With these buttons, you can easily raise or lower the needle, secure your stitches, trim threads, and adjust the sewing speed to low, medium, or high for comfortable and precise sewing.
BACKLIT LCD SCREEN AND FUNCTION KEYS
The screen on the Janome Skyline S6 displays your selected stitch pattern, mode, pattern number, recommended presser foot, stitch width, and stitch length in a user-friendly format. You can easily edit, program, and save stitch combinations using the function keys. The machine allows you to program up to 50 stitch combinations at once for your convenience.
FOOT PRESSURE DIAL AND THREAD TENSION DIAL
Adjust the foot pressure dial to match your fabric type, with lightweight and stretchy fabrics needing more pressure, and heavier fabrics requiring less. This maintains consistent stitches on all materials. For general sewing, simply set the thread tension dial to “Auto.” Manual adjustment may be needed when using a stitch width over “7.0.”
BOBBIN WINDER
The Skyline S6 comes with a built-in bobbin winder and cutter, making bobbin filling a breeze and ensuring you have the right thread color for each project.
ONE-STEP NEEDLE PLATE CONVERSION
Changing the needle plate on the Skyline S6 is a breeze. Remove the extension table, raise the needle and presser foot, push down the needle plate release lever, replace the needle plate with the new one, lock it in, and you’re ready to sew.
7-PEICE FEED DOGS
