Brother 7mm Walking Foot
The walking foot is a moving feed system that helps better control difficult fabrics and multiple fabric layers by holding and moving the fabric between the presser foot’s upper feed dog and the machine’s lower feed dogs. It’s perfect for sewing when matching prints or plaids, dealing with fabric drift, or quilting. Brother offers various Walking Feet that differ in the width of the feed dogs, shank height, and other features. Be sure to check your machine’s manual or the listings on the website to find the correct Walking Foot for your machine. Note that Walking Feet are not suitable for reverse or side-to-side sewing or for some built-in stitches that involve movement other than forward feeding.
