The Genuine Brother Walking Foot is a moving feed system designed to help control difficult fabrics and multiple fabric layers. It works by moving fabric between the machine’s upper feed dog and lower feed dogs, offering better fabric control, especially for quilting or matching prints and plaids, and when fabric drift is a concern. Brother offers several Walking Feet with different feed dog sizes and shank heights, so be sure to consult your manual or check the machine listings on this website to find the correct Walking Foot for your machine. Please note, Walking Feet are not intended for use in reverse or side-to-side sewing, or with built-in stitches that involve movement other than forward feeding of the fabric.
