FREE ARM/STORAGE
The Janome 4120QDC-G features a free arm that’s perfect for tasks like hemming sleeves and pant legs. To access the free arm, simply remove the auxiliary bed. Inside the machine’s bed, you’ll also find a handy storage compartment. This compartment is ideal for keeping presser feet, seam rippers, thread, and various tools organized and easily accessible. It’s a convenient feature for taking your sewing supplies with you to classes and guild meetings, providing extra space for your notions.
ONE-TOUCH BUTTONS
The Janome 4120QDC-G is equipped with seven essential buttons that make machine navigation quick and effortless. These buttons include functions like start/stop, easy reverse, lock stitch, thread trimming, twin needle, speed control, and memorized needle up/down.
LCD TOUCHSCREEN
The user-friendly screen on the Janome 4120QDC-G Computerized Sewing Machine shows you essential information such as the stitch pattern, mode, stitch pattern number, presser foot type, stitch width, and stitch length. It also allows you to edit, program, and save stitch combinations using the LCD touchscreen. You can program up to 50 stitch combinations at a time directly on the screen.
BUILT-IN NEEDLE THREADER
The Janome 4120QDC-G’s one-hand needle threader simplifies threading your needle, eliminating eyestrain and enabling you to begin sewing swiftly. Here’s how it works: pass the thread through the thread guide, pull the threader down, return the lever to its original position, pull the thread through your needle, and you’re ready to start sewing. Please note that the needle threader cannot be used with twin needles.
AUTO-THREAD CUTTING
The Janome 4120QDC-G Computerized Sewing Machine features automatic thread trimming. After completing the locking stitch, the machine will trim the threads automatically. It will stop when you press the reverse or auto-lock button or when a pattern with the auto-lock stitch programmed is finished.
DROP FEED
With the Janome 4120QDC-G, free-motion sewing, button sewing, and embroidery become effortless thanks to its lowered feed dogs. To lower the feed dogs, simply remove the bed of the machine. On the back of the free arm, you’ll find a lever that disengages the feed dogs. When the seven-piece feed dogs are not engaged, they “sink” below the needle plate, allowing you to move your fabric in any direction.
ADJUSTABLE PRESSER FOOT PRESSURE
You can adjust the presser foot pressure on the Janome 4120QDC-G to suit different types of fabrics. For thin fabrics, you should increase the pressure to prevent shifting during sewing. On the other hand, thick fabrics like fleece require less pressure to allow for smoother movement through the machine. This adjustment ensures precise stitches on various fabric types.
SNAP-ON FEET COMPATIBLE
Switching between presser feet is a breeze with the snap-on presser foot adaptor of the Janome 4120QDC-G. Just press the button to detach the current presser foot. When you’re ready to install a different presser foot, align it below the adaptor and lower the presser foot bar until it securely “snaps” into place. Now you’re ready to continue sewing with the new foot.
SUPERIOR PLUS FEED SYSTEM (SFS+)
The Janome 4120QDC-G features the Superior Plus Feed System, which guarantees professional-quality stitches. This system involves seven-piece feed dogs situated beneath the needle plate, moving in coordination with the presser foot to smoothly feed the fabric through the machine.
