The bernette 68 is a versatile combo machine with overlock, coverstitch, chainstitch, and combo stitch options. It boasts features like an air threader for easy looper thread threading, a spacious 5-inch (130 mm) workspace to the right of the needle for large projects, an integrated freearm for cuff sewing, bright LED lighting, and a Knee lifter for presser foot control. Plus, it offers 31 stitch options for diverse sewing needs.
LARGE SEWING ARM
The generous 130 mm of space to the right of the needle adds a new dimension to coverstitching. This ample working area is perfect for handling and maneuvering heavy sewing projects both in front of and behind the needle, providing you with the necessary space to tackle all tasks in the needle and looper area with ease.
LARGE EXTENSION TABLE
The provided slide-on table is simple to attach and enhances the comfort of sewing and guiding fabric, especially when working on larger sewing projects. It facilitates smooth fabric movement across the spacious rounded working area. Additionally, the matching coverstitch insert not only extends the sewing area but also seamlessly complements the slide-on table for enhanced functionality.
LED LIGHTING

AUTOMATIC AIR THREADER
KNEE LIFT
You can utilize the included knee lifter to position the fabric comfortably beneath the presser foot using both hands. To lower or temporarily raise the presser foot, simply push the knee lifter to the right with your knee. This feature enhances ease of sewing and fabric manipulation.
MICRO THREAD CONTROL (MTC)
